Straight from the Heart (Peabo Bryson album)
Straight From The Heart is the tenth full-length album from R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Peabo Bryson. It was released in 1984 on Elektra Records; his first of four discs for the label. It peaked at number 44 on the charts in the U.S., and featured 2 singles, his first top ten pop hit "If Ever You're in My Arms Again" (also number 6 R&B and number 1 Adult contemporary music) and the song "Slow Dancin," which made it to number 82 on the pop charts, while getting as high as number 35 on the R&B charts. Bryson himself co-produced the record, as well as writing five of the eight songs himself.
